New Northwoods Cam Network

I believe he is talking about making the picture wider...the view from the camera's on this site is very narrow compared to if you to the websites where the cameras are at. You cannot see if the bridge is up or down by clicking on houghton hancock camera but if you go to M@M's website and look which is the same camera you can see the bridge. Same as Parkview,Ajs Walleye Lodge, Bergland Bay Bar and most others that i know look different on Johns website. I love the new setup but cant get the whole view from here

If you are referring to the aspect ratio of the picture...I have a cam on the NCN and noticed it defaulted to the 4:3 (older more square tv's). This made my cam look funny so I emailed John and he made an adjustment to 16:9. This is the native aspect ratio for my camera. Maybe he needs to do the same with other cameras??

Will many of the old cams be added later? I liked to see the Buchorn, Whitefawn etc. and a few others that are either gone or missing. they were operational up until the change??

dfattack, I think you may be right with aspect ratio,i went to the old network and the 2 cameras that i know have a wider view Parkview, and Mosquito are narrow on new network,Gogebic area and Houghton cameras dont work on old network for you to see what i am talking about. Not the end of the world just nice to see bigger (wider) view.
