New Pro ride defrost bags

I have also seen this in the catalog. Very interested about the durability. I know the speedometer has to be relocated to install the defrost bag. It is supposed to utilize the heat from your motor and you can keep spare goggles, gloves and balaclava dry and warm.

I would love information from someone who has used these bags too.

Why not keep the key inside and just reach in when you need to, you might not use your electric start as often but its an option.

I agree polaris rider 1, I also worry about the key location. Is that not up real high also with this new setup, it could be a problem.

Electric start is nice, add that in and my extra girth, I figure that's 48 extra pounds to much. Life goes on :)

Snowest had tons of info, I ordered it from Babbitts online. I can pick up direct. (They are just 20 miles down the road). I will have to customize it a bit. Electric startt has spoiled me. Also got to relocate my 12v. Gps plug in. I have a plan.

And, how do you like? I ordered two with our Spring orders and have not put them on yet. Wasn't crazy with the design and relocation of the pod and key switch. I think my GPS will have to be relocated too.

I did have to move my GPS/accesory plug in to just below the bag on left side. Not a fan of the key location but it will be fine, I will tether the key. Doesn't look so big with stock black mid height windshield. I am all for the function over the form. plan to keep extra gloves, walkie talkie, and spare goggles in it. It may even work as a bun warmer and I can use it in conjuntion with my "Muff Pot", lol.
you might be able to use the premade hole for ignition switch for your GPS plug in and move key to another location. (didn't think of that when I installed). when you get the hood off you will be amazed how things are placed in the small space called an engine compartment. Total install time from start to finish including 2 beers was an hour. Dealing with the windshield davits/pins/plugs/ whatever you call thems, they took the most time.

I'd be willing to cut someone a sweet deal on the two I ordered in the Spring.
Just can't bring myself to put them on at this point. Thought storage space was going to be an issue when I ordered the new sleds, but have that covered now so I don't need them. Let me know.

I have one of these bags installed and it is great. Warm gloves and goggles all the time. The key isn't an issue it actually easier to get to with the bag installed..

warm gloves are nice. I tryed the bag that mounts under the hood, bit of a hassle. I will install for you, I got a shop in Lowell and Irons, both with heat and beer. Doesn't look bad with stock black windshield.

I don't have that kind of money, so I made my own, "Skylar size" version. I got a windshield bag for Christmas, and got to thinking, so, here is what I did. Now, the windshield bag is not very big, BUT, I can get my camera in there, and I know I can get a strudel or two in there. LOL

Looks good! How does the heat get into the bag? Post a pic from drivers prospective please. We may be able to sell your idea to say SLP. Gotta love royalties.

The bag is just thin nylon, my thoughts are that the heat will just transfer up into the bag. We will see I guess.

How about doing a cutout to match holes and adding nylon mesh to bag to hold things in. I got an RSI underdash bag I had been experimenting with before buying the Po made bag. Hope it works nice for you, warm trail strudle is to die for!
