Purchased a new project a couple weeks ago. It's a 1982 CJ7 with a 4.2L in it. The paint was pretty faded so these pictures are after two coats of polish/wax.

Awesome. If you don't mind sharing, what does something like that go for? I had a 92 YJ in college, and I miss it all the time. Of course the CJ7's are cooler than the YJ's, but it was still a fun ride.

My girlfriend and I bought it from her step brother for $2900....pretty cheap for what you see others listed on craigslist for. I've seen CJ7 frames for sale for 1100.

I dont want to make it a money pit (HD already does that to me) but I have a small hole I need to fix on the drivers side floor and then we'll pull all the seats and everything out and put some type of bed liner down to help seal everything up.

Its got a new battery, cables, plugs and wires, and I replaced the PCV valve and some of the hoses. I think I'll probably have to go through and replace some of the vacuum lines too. Will also need to replace the gaskets on both axles.
