The Beargrease dog sled race started Sunday on the MN North Shore, They follow the Snowmobile trail all the way from Two harbors to Grand Portage and back to Duluth. We went out last year and saw them on the trail and as we were riding back to our cabin we had to pass a few of them and almost all of them stopped their teams on the side of the trail and let us go by. We've also seen them many times on the forest roads in that area. If we meet them we usually just pull to the side and shut off the sleds, if we have to pass them we just wait until they wave us by. One time when we stopped for a pair of mushers they actually asked if our kids wanted to ride with them for a bit.
