New Sled

So as not to get accused of sharing my excitement on a thread not related to new sleds, I finally sold the Dragon (not happy about it, tho) and am picking up a 2006 Switchback this weekend. I may actually be able to ride again this year!

Linda, you and Mike up for a visitor in a couple weeks?

Cool! thats the more rare race graphics. I love the 600 HO engine. Had to jet it down though because it comes so rich from the factory and it would load up a lot.

Nice Sled! I could be wrong but it seemed like a sled had to be snow checked to get those graphics. At least I remember passing on one exactly like this at my dealer that was snow checked and never picked up. Boy, was it hard to walk away from it.

Thanks!
The graphics were a snow check option. At first, I didn't like them but they kind of grow on you. Just need to add a riser and a different windshield and I'll be set.

Does that have the same motor and carbs as the one you sold me? Should've never got rid of it! Just kidding...but we really do like the sled. I don't know that I'll ever get rid of it but you never know. I'm sending out the rear shocks this week I think to get rebuilt. The wife like that 07 better than the '10 because of the way it sits. I've thought about dumping one of them.

Same motor and no more CFI! That was a fun sled. I'm glad you guys are still enjoying it!

I have 2 cfi 600 motors and not a problem. However on the '10 I did have the voltage regulator go out. They are a HUGE difference from the carbed motor.

What are you going to get for a riser? I was thinking about doing that for my Fusion 600. I think your SB has the same goofy adjustable steering system as mine, so I'm curious what works well with that.

Depends on you're height and comfort. I have the same year Switchy and I went with a 2" riser. It's about perfect for me. I possibly could have went 3". I'm 5' 7"

Not sure yet. I will have to see what works. I'm 6'3'' so I had an 8" on the Dragon but that had the simple pivot post. There's no way the stock height is going to work for me on this one.
