Its no more severe that what we have going on now, more contagious and they see no reason why the current vaccines wont guard against it but...Let the fear mongering begin!! Anyone notice how the state with the most strictest lock down policies and enforcement continues to have record cases?? How is this possible? maybe the science... ISN'T right and...it is just a virus going to do what it wants. hmmmmm

It's because they aren't following the science. Restaurants/bars are causing only 1.45% of the infections so why shut them down? It seems to me the more you shut things down (as you noted with CA) and make people stay at home, where 74% of the infections come from, the worse it gets. They want us to follow the science until it doesn't meet their narrative.

UK is a mess with new strain causing lock down ,no one working, supply chain broken other European countries sealing off UK travel. UGH! Brexit didn’t go well either so lots of economic headwinds. No one knows how bad the new strain will spread throughout Europe but expect all vaccines to work unfortunately the new strain is a lot more contagious which is a huge downside. USA doesn’t seem very concerned allowing UK flights in. Some so called Covid experts think the new strain mutation
is already here so very low key reaction to its spread. So what I can determine with what is known is to administer vaccines ASAP step up release and get shots in arms. Good news is it is believed that current Covid 19 won’t mutate beyond capabilities of vaccines for 2-3 years then we will need new formulations just like the flu shots. Covid will be here forever just like the flu so get your shot or not personal choice but I’m in for sure.

I like to repost this shot I took from a Cuomo press conference way back on May 7th, where they were asking people what and where they had been before coming to the hospital sick - as you can see, 66% of them were ‘staying home’. It was right after that he stopped posting these findings because as you said, it didn’t fit their narrative, it wasn’t working to tell people to stay home.

It’s a personal decision to be informed regarding Covid 19. You chose to not know it’s up to you. Me vaccines, and a new more contagious strain of Covid 19 gets my attention as it may affect business decisions I’m about to make this week and my recreational life and travel as well. JD membership is an intelligent group so I always like to hear their opinions. I have had Covid and DO NOT want it again as was very tough on a guy my age so I’m open to news and will sort out the facts.

If you must take vac., J&J has the cleanest label. P3 studies now, approval soon. IMO wait for this one.

Agree 100%. Throwing out the word "science" is now the argument stopper, but by "science" they mean "agenda"

I find it interesting that at the start of all this it was stay at home to flatten the curve. Now that the curve is flattened in most states they say stay at home to stop the spread. When did this change? Just was speaking to someone working at a hospital and they said hospitals operate with ICU rooms 90 - 100% full. This is how they make there money. So nothing new here either.

Considering what we have learned about this virus in the first few months, the current response should have been altered back to our previous approach. We should open up, allow the healthy population to get the virus so they build antibodies, reaching heard immunity which ultimately protects the vulnerable. The vulnerable right now should be protected and provided for. So many people joke or discourage the concept of heard immunity but as soon as the vaccine was close to being approved and released, that word came back into play. Currently, they say that if we can get 60-70% of the population to get inoculated, that would build heard immunity. Why in the **** did they not allow us to build that immunity naturally is beyond me. Too much globalists/socialist influence in our response by the likes of little Fauci!

Correct. My 88 year old mother just had COVID. The first thing they give them is plasma from someone who has already had COVID. They are very short of this product. We could have been making lots more of this for treatment of those that really need it. My mom is now doing better and is considered free of it.

Glad to hear your mom is doing good. I would not doubt that if the new strain does indeed impact our nation that the same irresponsible response will be maintained,,,,,AGAIN! If that were the case, I think it would push us over the edge into civil conflict.

Thanks for the kind words guys but we are in a deep world of hurt and it appears the swamp is too deep for non politicians. The establishment is secure and anyone attempting to tamper with is is destroyed. If the current administration does indeed not maintain power, we set a precedent and we can safely say our constructional republic has indeed run its course. Time will tell,,,,,,

I had it in Oct (no symptoms besides loss of tase and smell) and I have been donating plasma since. Glad its helping out people like your mother...and not gonna lie its a decent payout for 1.5hrs of my time. Although I've heard these for-profit plasma centers are making a killing off it.
