Im getting tons of good advice (two thumbs up on the advice)....its all been really good, and yeah he really likes it up there, wishes he could come visit more often but its an 18hr drive and to fly out of Portland to St Louis its usually around $600, so he tries to come down for holidays and birthdays. Ive been up there about 5 times, all in the winter, 3 of those times they've had nor easters and those are an awesome experience, first time I went up there it snowed for 4 days straight had to help shovel the roof off everyday, back to the new trailer, the opinions are the reason I came here instead of FB. I appreciate all the advice.

hey I am going to add this, and just take no bash here, but when I was looking at trailers a few yrs back
Scot's rec, was selling Worthington trailers, loaded up with lots of great options, for LESS than what they cost to buy at the factory here in PA< and SCotts is in Maine
every dealer in PA I contacted wanted higher prices than SCotts did?
so, just cause there MADE here in "X" state doesn't always mean there cheaper to buy there

this also was the same deal with Haulmark trailesr, I actually live less than 10 miles from one of there MFG plants and they were selling there trailers cheaper at Scotts, than local dealers near me would?

NO clue how or why, but it was that way when I priced things,m same options same trailers, just were cheaper in Maine than PA< where they were made?

however the costs of fuel to go get one in MAINE< broke things about even LOL

Scott's is next door or close to, both Mission trailers, and SNO PRO trailer company's, and as such, they seemed to team up and get better deals on these brand trailers there!
so they would most likely be the most savings on a brand there from my experience with them, they been pricing them at about a grand cheaper than they sell for in my area any on average!

Ill have to check them out, thanks for the heads up.

I sold trailers for a couple of years and sold quite a few EZ Haulers, they are made by the same company that makes the Missions but have a few less features, I thought they were good trailers for the money

they move a lot of trailers, they take in a lot of used trade in's too, so if your possibly looking for a used one, I gather you can always get on a list when they come in too

Scott's has been in the sled game a long time, I have known many folks that traveled pretty far to buy off them,
I am NOT trying to push them here, just saying, they have a pretty solid reputation for great customer service too, and not a here today GONE tomorrow business, which is nice, as they have experiences in things and can if nothing else offer idea's on what works and what doesn't, if you care to ask them!

no offence intended in the "why make him drag a trailer to your house when he comes to visit" part of my reply....just was a fiscal based opinion as well as all that can complicate a long drive when a simple visit without hauling a 24' trailer would be much easier....heck he'd be able to come see you twice for the added cost of hauling that thing.....lololol.

i'd have to see a huge deal and cost savings on that trailer....Thousands$$$$$..... before I'd make him haul that all this way.

Alcom is the actual mfg of various models of EZ Hauler, Mission, High Country, etc. They are out in Maine. http://www.alcomusa.com/contactus.php
I almost went with a Mission trailer last year. Went with a brand new RC Trailer instead. Ordered it brand new. Picked it up from factory in Indiana. The Mission trailer did have little better nice fit and finish, but pretty comparable. Fit and finish is debatable, money is not! I was able to put that saved money into other accessories.

Glad I ordered it last year. I figure trailer orders are out a ways this year.
Aluminum, 16" OC wall, roof, and floor was a must. Good advice from others.

Alcom also has a second plant in Sioux Falls, SD. I've been there and poked around at their stuff. The Mission hybrids are pretty nice actually, if someone is in the market for one of those parachutes with wheels. LOL!

Ya when I put my hybrid away this spring my plan was to buy an inline trailer for this year. Welp 2020 happened and I won't be paying a premium price because of all this BS.... Run my parachute one more year... HOPEFULLY

biggest thing Im running into is inventory is hard to find on the net, even looking in Indiana and Wisconsin.

Yep same thing I’m finding so hoping inventory will increase in Fall. If not I’ll keep my United Expressline tank another season.

Well I ended up selling my hybrid to the fella that posted "looking for a hybrid trailer" in here. So in my searching I went with a brand new RnR trailer that they are going to build for me the week of sept 29. Went with the top of the line PSD version. 7' wide. 18' w/5' V nose. Easily fit 3 sleds maybe 4 if I'm crafty... Looking forward to towing something that is not such a parachute.

Post some pics when you get it.

Thought I've heard over the years that the 18+5 inlines take four if you put them in sort of Tetris style - one sled sitting immediately next to another, but facing the opposite direction, with two rows of two sleds.

I got all my track mats down and ended up being one ski guide short, but overall its coming along, everyone tells me to fit 4 in Ill need to load by pulling them in the front door and facing them towards the back, (7X24+5V)not completely sold on this yet, Ill be getting my brothers sled tonight just to do some messing around, I will say that my two that are in there at the moment take up a lot of room.

Who did you get the mats and guides from? I was thinking about adding mats and glides to the ramp doors but then just screwing another sheet of plywood over the floor to take the abuse rather than line the entire trailer.

Caliber mats and guides are nice quality. Swisstrax modular flooring is what I installed in mine. Check them out and I would be more than happy to send you some pics of the install.

polarismike is right, Caliber ski guides are very easy to work with, the mats I got are actually made from recycled material Im pretty sure made by Reflex. Minus the one ski guide Im short, all in was $507 to do the whole trailer, ski guides are around $18 a piece depending on where you buy them, and the role of reflex was around $40. The reflex is 1/2" X18" X10' so that should handle the studs.
