The stupid urban forestry group planted 150 trees on this little 1/2 acre triangular lot next to me. This lot had to be owned by the school due to the creek running through it. But, the school never maintained it. I always mowed it and even de-thatched it in the spring. But i snowmobile around on this lot in circles all winter long. This is how i get my miles on before the trails open. I've been riding on this lot since i was about 6. It started out as just grass. It looked pretty good, the school actually mowed it. Then the urban forestry group planted about 3 dozen trees in the middle. The school NEVER mowed because the trees were too much of a hassle. But i could perfectly get around my oval track fine. I would put on anywhere from 200-800 miles per year on this lot riding in circles. Then, last weekend, they planted 150 trees and left all the sod next to the trees. They finally moved a big mulch pile 2 days ago that sat there since last July. They killed all this grass and threw a bunch of mulch around the 3 dozen trees they planted a while ago. Then, they kill more grass and planted these new trees and they are planning on putting mulch around this whole eye-sore. Well, This is NOT going to stop me from riding on this little property. I already found my new "track" and i'm going to get a bunch of those orange electrical under-ground line flags and mark out my track in the fall. Check out this video of the eye-sore/ my new track where i get to "boondock" thru the trees!

well you got around the lot in 1.40min on your lawn tractor...........how long does every one think it will take Indy to get around the same lot with his sled?

My guess 6.4 minutes...........because he is going to go wide and stick a ski in that culvert and it will take him a good 5 min to get the sled pulled out.:) :) just giving ya crap bud!!!

800 miles (200 for that matter) on a half acre lot every year?!?!?! I quit riding lower WI (by my property) 18 years ago because I got bored with the senery and tarrain.

Next time, clean the dirt out from under your thumb nail before filming it. LOL :)

Without the culvert issue, he might break 6 minutes, maybe. I'm sure the mower has a tighter turning radius and once his skis hit the road, he'll have to get off and pull the back end around.

haha lol i was wrenching on a lawnmower. my whole right arm was grease and dirt. My road gets traveled on a lot but i get out there and ride during snow storms and pack it down so sometimes the snow stays. If not, i just ride up and down the sides of the roads. And yes i've put on 800 miles on this little lot. .15 miles per lap. With my 500 on the trails, i typically got 14 mpg. riding it in my yard got me 6 mpg. with my 700 i get 7-8 mpg on the trails, i might get lucky to get 2 mpg in my yard!

i dunno INDY....looks like an awesome road racing course now to me....cut tighter on the turns and add in some 180's and whatnot....we used to ride in sub divisions in the inner city on my 1977 JOHN DEERE 440 LIQUIFIRE....try throwing a couple o broken bed frames and old rusty cars and cement blocks in the mix and you'll be close to our course setup dude....i say have at it bro...i can certainly see 800 miles in that thing at your age.....i proud o you myself....plus you lucky dude...we would have to outrun the cops everytime we were out there after 19 minutes some old beotch would call them....what a drag....we always outran them though....my personal best is 5 cop cars at once....after many years of doing that we would be coming home and sitting in the driveway would be the supervisors cop car and 2 more parked out front on road and they'd be inside havein coffe and tea DONT YA ......KNOW.....DOH....BUSTED AGAIN!!!!!! go man go whilst ya can...betta one of those neighbors is the ***** that called em to plant that crap...what ya do is when ya 18 get a MOTORCYCLE with loud *** pipes and a job working midnights....they love the warm up period at night....its always cold and takes a long time....:) :D ;) ;) ;)

At 0.15 miles per lap to get a grand total of 800 miles you would have to do roughly 5330 laps.................... you need a girlfriend

Seriously though, I love sleds but if my neighbor did 5000+ laps around his yard I think I would go insane.
