Weasel got into trouble with his bookies and had both his knees shot out last summer. I am guessing the fire was arson by the same thugs. i heard Weasel is sick and in a nursing home and his sister was running the place. Since he lost his snowmobile trail, his winter business would be down.

I wonder if the pole was a chromed schedule 120 pipe and was anchored into the ground with 20 yards of concrete. It was almost like watching NASCAR "Waiting for the violent Crash but not wanting to see it from too close". Gotta give her credit for shaking that THING!!! It's probaly like a tsunamia (the wave just keep traveling around the world).

Wow, I am stunned after reading all the posts on this, particularly about Weasel himself. I haven't been there in a couple years, but we almost made it there on every sled trip in the old days.

I always thought Weasel was a great guy. Had a few conversations with him over the years. A couple years ago, a buddy and I were on a bike trip and stayed at a resort in Three Lakes. We took a cab ride to Weasels for some yucks and by the time we wanted to leave, no cab was available. Weasel insisted on giving us a ride back to the lodge. Good guy.
