Hey it's a start Keewee or wherever UP & WI the traffic is needed to run in the trails. For those that like early season riding I say go for it!!!

We never ride December/early January, ever. Early season is worst season, March is where it's at!!

I see it both ways, just need to set one's expectations before loading the truck. I agree, March is where its at but don't tell everyone!
Now that I have a place in N. WI I learned the hard way to not go North in March with nothing more than a chain saw.

Whitedust, I'll lean on you as my New Years planning consultant. I just may be one of those first one down the trail guys looking for rocks and stumps.

Leaving in 4 hrs and counting. Headed to trout lake and take off for nw yoop in the am plus good excuse to bring sleds up....as for early season riding not worried I plan on 20 to 30 miles maybe just run a loop basically. I don't want to trash the m8 yet or my sno pro for that matter......

Our road is the best trail condition going 2 inch ice base & 2 inches of fluff,the lake might be ok but not me first...lol...Groomed trails still closed, North Twin open water talked to GE owners yesterday. A few more clippers & Frs should be ok but blocked at trail 17 untill they open gates. Kids off school soon so there will be sleds all over the ditches, fields & roads. I just hope they don't piss off too many lando owners. I will get serious about riding on the 2nd so hope I can get to UP & the good stuff.
