Here is a video with Cooke City avy interview with Bear Claw Bob http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYVxvwWYp1Y Last year I seen 3 actual slides in one week. figured the more knowledge the better.
Agreed. A couple of the guys asked me to do an over night in the bush with them using our gear we normally haul with us and nothing more. Kinda a "real" survival practice. That is on a few bucket lists my friends, but not mine!Bob's Best friend died in an avy on Rasta, Bob was one who help dig him out. Rasta is the first hill after the trail ends looks like a very easy hill to ride no biggie......someone dies on rasta every cpl years......Cooke is not for the first timers....JMO
Looking good Wayne!
Heading over to top of the world tomorrow.
You might already know this but, the safety hut at TOW has a cell phone booster in it. You should be able to post pics there pretty well. I never took my phone out, but other guys were saying they were getting full bars. Its on the wall down on the end near the firewood.
Also, I was using Bearclaw Bobs wifi. They will give you the password if you ask. The hotel wifi worked for about 10 mins the whole time we were there.
I see Doug and Mike found there sticking points! How about you?
Yeah that safety hut is friggin sweet. We cooked dogs and brats out there a couple days too.
Amazing sled, the RMK Pro. My stucks are few and far between, I will see what they got on me and I will post them to. Note: my sled can do way more then I dare, but pushing it more and more. I had no ride time at home with it this year. We did have a guy blow a motor today, yes a Sea and snow user. Lol..
