Carlton, you guys are making me jealous! I'm gonna take back that beacon and drive out there alone just to ride pretty soon. KIDDING! I'm headin' up to Rockland with Andy if conditions are good in mid March. Andy got rid of that Nytro and has an M8 now.

We've got one truck that is hauling sled in the back no trailer and 3 guys inside plus open space in other trucks. So pack up and head on over. We are staying in the big red house so there is plenty of room.</font>

I wish I could. You'll have to keep me in the loop if you have any openings in the future. We might head west in March if conditions in the UP aren't good.

I found out Feb 2 that my plant is shutting down and I am out of a job April 10.
I may have some options, but will not know until mid March at the earliest so I am out for that trip.</font>

When in March? Nytroman - have you been to the Big Horns before? What are your thoughts on it?

That sucks about your job. I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck on whatever option you might have.

Headed to Alpine second week of march. Going to stop and ride the Sierra Madre's for one day just to break up the drive a bit.

Did you guy's see the pics of the snowies on snow west. HOLY CRAP!! 4-5 feet of fresh running down the trail!! Sleds submarining!!

Sorry about the job Zrt. I know how it feels, and its not a good feeling. Good luck.

Hey, if anyone is looking for some new gear, check out funoutfitters.com. I just picked up a klim tomahawk parka on clearence for 125 bucks, and extream bibs for $121. over $600 worth of gear for $250 shipped!! Just thought I would pass it a long. Of course limited sizes and colors.

I can't wait to dive into the powder. We have a combination of 136" sleds and rookies going this trip to make it interesting for sure. They better eat their wheaties!

Well day one was a stuckfest as we predicted there was no shortage of deep stuff. We didn't venture to far in just played close to the trails and had no problem getting stuck. I was the first of the day no even 10 min from the lodge the dragon buckeded me and down in the trees she went. Had many stucks when poeple came to help you get unstck and became stuck themselves. We called it a day and were back at the cabin at 2:30 drank some beer and i think I was asleep at 7:30. No pics for day one but we will get some today!

<font color="ff0000">Sorry for the lack of a report got back and been busy since. We had a great time even though it was all tracked up. Got a little fresh the last 2 days and dug a little deeper to find some really great stuff. Last day we found the perfect Hill untouched and miles of deep snow just off N and 30 min later one of the guy's blew a chaincase so we went onto rescue mode since it was late in the days and we had a 20 mile tow ahead of us. ZRT ended up out of gas and a few were low and almost out of oil. Needless to say we made it back to albany but had to go rescue ZRT and his sled from the grennrock area. All in all a great trip and getting ready for the Big Horns in a couple weeks. I will post some pics tonight gotta a good one of ZRT triming some trees!</font>
