Funny thing is I didn't see Ski-doo as a manufacturer at the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame induction ceremony again this year. The only manufacturer there to give out an award was Arctic Cat giving a sled to the groomer driver of the year.

Everyone is so negative about everything all of the time on here. Maybe if you all put this much effort into your job, you wouldn't be so angry at life. Johndee.com is a site for snowmobilers to unite, because we all share the same passion for the sport. All most people do is come on here to complain and start drama like a high school girl? Last time I checked, I was an adult. Figured pretty much everyone on here was too. The post was simply to gain support and market myself in a contest that I entered for the **** of it and actually made it this far. Everyone rips on me because they personally don't think I should win the "contest" when that's all it is...a contest? If you don't own a business, or ever owned a business...its called Marketing for a reason. To get people engaged in your goal either as an individual or as a company to progress. I think I dedicate a lot of time and money into this sport, which has benefited hundreds of lives and clubs both involved and not involved in the sport. So what is there to be so salty about and sit on a website forum and complain?

Ignore the snarky remarks, that's all you can do. Anybody in the service business will agree with this: You can please some of the people some of the time, but, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Congrats on getting this far in the contest & Good luck to you in your venture.-Mezz

Well, you've got my vote. I'm just happy for a fellow site member who might win something. For all those who are being so serious and critical, it's not like it's an actual lifetime achievement award or something. Its a sweepstakes. It obviously goes without saying that there are countless people who have given and sacrificed for this sport whose achievements are too many to quantify and that is exactly what the Hall of Fame is for. We thank them and we are grateful. Being a club member is not relevant. There are tens of thousands of snowmobilers who live many hours from the states and trails that they patronize and would love to volunteer if it weren't for distance and time. We should all be bound by a common bond, our love of the sport. It should never be about who rode the most miles, who cleared the most brush, who has the fastest sled or who spent the most money. If someone on here has the chance to win a great prize based on votes, let's support them, they're a fellow sledder.

Agreed! I really dont understand the negativity in here over this...it's as though you're some anti-snowmobiler ?!

You're clearly a diehard snowmobiler- you surely spend plenty of cash on snowmobile related products and businesses..that good enough for me.
