Got up to the cabin near Finland and there’s plenty of snow. The local clubs are are just starting to whip them into shape. Yesterday the local Moosewalk trails and Finland trails were all being groomed, the Tomahawk trail was perfect, and hopefully last night the NSST was getting groomed. Went out for my first ride on Wednesday and got to watch these two bull moose for about 10 minutes.

Looks like moose on the loose. Also looks like your snow depth is shaping up nicely (at least knee-deep on a moose). How's the temps down your way?

Kelly, it fricken cold. Yesterday I think it was about -10 all day, we rode mostly in the Isabella area. Today it’s supposed to get above zero but waiting until about noon to go out. Yesterday morning I went to start my sled and the e start just laughed at me. Trying to even pull it over was a bear. Took awhile. Last night I stuck it back in the trailer and put a space heater in there. What a difference!
Snow conditions are good. Out in the swamps there’s easily two feet of snow, probably a lot more. Had some fun carving in swamps yesterday. Even had a stuck (not me).
