The Palace!
Last year, because of the road closure of 2, we had to drive by there twice. What the heck! The first time I was like, "did you see that? It looked like a business or something!"
On the way back we slowed way down to check it out, however it didn't look very inviting and I wasn't looking for a drink or an entanglement so we kept on going.

Lakenland east of Marquette is pretty cool. It’s like a starving artist park full of welded up junk that makes cool art. They have a fire going and you can make s’mores and hot chocolate.
And if you think the plywood palace is cool, check out the Clinic near Lyndon Station.

The Plywood Palace. No trip would be complete without witnessing the timeless wonder of the magnificent spendor and architecturally perfect castle-like structure.

That's a pretty sad "point of interest."

Two bottles of hand sanitizer on the bar... That place looks like a real treat!! Whats that other place that it is a bar in the womans home and she throws the empty cans out the window. Its right on a river along the trail. She has tricks and stuff she does. Old school. She told me her and her sister were both born in that house....

The other place is Jo Buckwheats Resort on the Tuscobia Trail.
It's a must stop every year.
