The 2nd Annual Northwest Wisconsin Pub Run is a year long event involving bars and restaurants in Bayfield and NE Douglas County. The deal is you pick up a card at anyone of the participating 33 businesses. If you get a stamp at 27 out of 33 stops then you get a long sleeved T shirt with graphics signifying the event. You simply need to make a purchase at a stop to receive a stamp. You can get to these stops anyway you want but this is primarily a snowmobiling event.
Note: This is not a poker run. It is not about drinking and driving. One has all year to collect the stamps.
So, who is participating? Anyone finish yet? Anybody discover a new favorite stop?
I have 20 stamps so far...I was hoping to do it twice but we'll see if the weather cooperates. One new stop for me was Rhyno's in Drummond; nice place and the bartender even let me name my price for my Bloody Mary. The help at the Other Place (OP) was nicer than I remember as well. One of my favorite stops is the Flying Eagle in Delta - I could get 20 stamps there
