A couple updates from the radio this morning-

The date we need the letters in by is the 29th. An aid to the court said that 'hundreds' of letters have been received so far. Once again, while this seems like a longshot, our prosecuting attorney thinks this really has a shot.

I'm in buddy. Drove by the plant about a week after it closed. Every local that I talked to from Marenesco to Twin Lakes was concerned about this. Looks like a nice plant. Hope it works out. i printed it out a couple weeks ago and then finally mailed it last Friday. (hope it wasent too late) They need all the jobs they can get up there...I'am moving to Ironwood and i would travel there for work if there was a new company.

Not for sue. Stone emerged from bankruptcy in late June. I am typing from my Driod so I will be brief. Things sound positive for a sale and closing by Nov. Lots of rumors...but no one REALLY knows for sure. If any of the rumors are even close, things may improve here soon.

i just read in the paper that a deal has been made and in the works now. The soon to be new owner said he was going to put several "green" companies there.
