Lots of fresh snow in Vilas 8-10 inches on a good base so get on it quickly mid 40s on Friday....have fun...I'm riding.

I know Whitedust is beat. We rode today with Venturenorth and we all had over 200 miles logged. Trails were for the most part great! Met in Iron River, went north on 15 to 111 back down to Amasa then back tracked on 15 back through IR all the way to 6 east and west where we split up and headed home. I'd say 90% trails were good/excellent.

x2 ..... parked in my recliner....what a ride.....followed the groomer on some great trails.....doesn;t get much better....:)

Yep deep snow and breaking trail for too many miles on unplowed FRs kicked my butt never so happy to ride a groomed trail....lol... Hats off to Iron County,MI they really were grooming everything yesterday trying to get their trail system in good shape...we had a blast... passed groomers on all our routes all day Amasa,IR south trails... good job IC! Every biz was very happy to see us tuff 2017 and 2018 has had a slow start for the entire area. This is one of our fav areas but low snow kept us out last year so missed it a lot. A couple of warm days coming up saw a 47 forecasted for Baraga so hoping trails hold up...just have to see. Thanks to dfattack for scouting trails at night in the teeth of the storm his picks were excellent!

whitedust; I'll take breaking trail on unplowed FR's for too many miles all day!!!!!!!!!!! That is as good as it gets for me!!! I just like it. Good to hear you boy's had a great day. All I could do is think about riding. Ride, enjoy, and be safe!!!

This wasn't powder....it was wet concrete snow....way different than the cloud ride you get in 2-3 feet a powder.

Why don't you head up here and ride? Like WD said, now is the time. Sidnaw to Big Bay tomorrow!

Just got back home this week. Trying to get things caught up, and done, so as to be able to take off up there again soon. Believe me, I did not want to leave up there!!! Sidnaw to Big Bay is a nice run. Up one way, back another. Enjoy your ride, be safe, and keep the reports coming. If I can't ride, I still enjoy hearing other's who are riding reports.
