Do your homework before you go. Do not tresspass. Very little off trail in the Baldwin, Irons, Cadillac areas. hills are just that hills. Most everything is private land. That area is mainly for trail riding. The locals shoot first ask questions later. My cabin is in lake County. There are tons of trails, unplowed roads and plenty of ditches. You need to go further North for "real" off trail riding.
