I hear ya Brad. It'll be a while before the snow flies, but there have been some real nice mornings out there lately. I'm hoping for early snow again. December is much more fun with snow on the ground.

I am waiting for some really good snow too! With no truck to pull the trailer - I'm thinking local riding is on our schedule for this season... so BRING ON THE SNOW!!!
Jim is still OTR truckin' - on his way to San Antonio now. He was home the ENTIRE WEEKEND! He got here late Friday night and didn't have to leave until Sunday afternoon. What a great weekend!

Well, we could use Doug's truck AND his trailer... Jim blew up his 1000 Highmark toolin' the backcountry at last years ride in. All we got left of that POS is the shell. Soooo I think if we play it right, we could get 5 sleds in the trailer, one in the bed and with my new van we could pile all the stuff in the van!
I've got my planning wheels in motion... I've already made reservations at the Ramada... I continue to think positive...
Yesterday was HOT - holy humid hot. I don't like that. I want the cool temps!

We are trying to plan another bike trip for the 1st weekend in Oct. wanted to stay at the Running Bear but Linda looks to have the cabins all booked up. I'm not making reservations yet for the Ride In, I'm just hoping I can get off work to go if we are as busy as it has been all year don't know if they'll let me, they've already cancelled peoples vacations this summer.

zoo, what days are you goin north. Im heading up the 3rd of october for the week. Really in need of a U.P. fix. Its been a summer of long hours. Im excited to put the boat away while im there, and get the sleds out, smell the 2-stroke!!! Hope all is well with everyone.

To all: The 4th annual SledChicks grass drags at Kaboolies will be October 29th. Plenty of space to camp and park if you don't want to drive....Sled not needed but drinks are... lol
Jeff still trying to figure out how much time I can get off,(had Labor day off 1st day in 43 straight) so I know how your feeling most of them been 10hr days also. I'm trying for sept 30th-Oct 2nd but may only get the 30th and the 1st if thats the case we are going to do a Mitten shoreline ride. I'll let you know when it gets alittle closer

Suzie and Tom, who I don't know, I'm so sorry for your loss! There's always that cheated feeling when a loved one dies!
I so wanted to make the grass drags - maybe one day when I get to pick destinations!
I'm feeling like I'm commited to doing the Ride In this year but not sure how I'm gonna swing it with the hubby and the kids. I'm the JD'er - the husb is the one that gets the updates from me. My sled's in White Pine for anyone that can come and pick me and my sled up...I'd ride it the whole dam way there...but that doesn't seem realistic, really, truly, cuz I l like my beers and I don't sled sloshed! We may be broke tomorrow but we had a good summer (HVAC and it was hot as ****) and I got my secret squirrel stash stashed away!
I keep on threatening to see Mrs Running Bear and it just doesn't seem to happen! Mrs Bear, it hasn't been my fault! you got sick and then I was with too many kids and too few days! It makes me sad to think I'm gonna miss out on that jam...makes me sadder that I still have yet to meet ya!!
