Rode from Wausau home this morning. Got to Clintonville with WONDERFUL trails. Made it to about Northport and Oh my god the trails were awful. Northport, Dale, Hortonville, Greenville, you name it, it was bad. Too much traffic + sun = not good. Clintonville north had just as much snow, it's just that they don't have much traffic. I met Skutr right before I got to bean city and ate my 1 lb. burger. First pic is in Sugar Bush on my student teacher's land. First 5 pics are from Saturday. I thought the 4th one was cool. It was along the mountain bay and I climbed up on this mini hill thing to take it. We rode 75 miles in a straight line down the mountain bay all the way to weston (5 miles out of wausau)

You may want to set your cameras clock.

Skylar, what area were those pics from?

Indy, trails around Waupaca/Outagamie Counties weren't all that good on Saturday. The snow we received Friday night helped maybe a little to cover the dirt but there was quite a few sleds out too.

Where's that Sea&Snow decal on your sled?? Just had to ask!

I had it on my headlight reflector, but sea & snow is so bad, it made the dang thing fall off! :D

Skylar's pics are from around Adams Cty.

Sea and snow made it so fast I am surprised you could hold on.

I rode 1 handed all day, your right, that oil is so awesome i almost fell off everytime i hit the throttle! Stupid me, wear e-vent mountain gloves up there, then the next morning it's 0 degrees and you have to drive down the mountain bay trail for countless miles (rr grade) with the thinnest gloves on in the world. drove with my left hand down by my gas cap and my right hand had a handwarmer in there, my handwarmers work but they aren't very hot other than my thumb warmer.

A few pics from Price County

Here's a few from the last few days near Phillips.

1. A nest in the Power Lines, something kinda big living up there.

2. Came across a Logging Operation southwest of Phillips.

3. A view of the Pine Line railroad grade near Ogema, between Phillips and Medford.

4. Rolling hills near Musser Lake in Price County.

5. Flock of Turkeys near Solberg Lake.

Great pics everyone! WOOHOOO!

XCSP, Indy is right, almost all of those shots were southern Adams county, the farthest north I got was White Creek.

Trails looked about the same through Portage County today. A little beatfrom the weekend but still snow covered and look just like what you both have shown.

I better bring the camera next time......72 miles through Amherst south through Almond and back through Junction.

Indy is absolutely correct - anything south of Sugar Bush was blown up. If you're a snow cross wannabe - go ahead and hit the Northport trails hard. Anything north of Manawa or Sugar Bush are pretty good.

Indy - It was GREAT to meet you & your Dad today on the trail. Your sled & the mohawk on the helmet are hard to miss :)

Happy Trails

Skutr

It was nice meeting you too skutr! (i'm a scott too! cool name huh!) That is the 4th time this year i've met either you or your sons coming down your road hopping onto the trails in that exact location. I've gone past it 4 times this season and each time I saw someone. Yesterday morning I saw your 2up and an indy lite. One time I pulled up behind you going towards bean city and you turned off down your road, i believe you were with your 2 boys at that time. And another time earlier this year I was heading towards northport and you guys were at the road crossing, you waited for me to cross then you went down your road, don't know if you were with that time. It's crazy, you wouldn't believe it, but yesterday, me and my dad stopped at your road crossing and let your boys go by and I said "i think this guy skutr on john dee lives down that road, i've seen pictures of his sleds on there and they look to be the same"
