Oil/Gas ratio Polaris 600 carb

The Poo burn down thread got me thinking...was is the appropriate oil/gas ratio for a 2006 Polaris 600 carb (before the EPA cracked down)? Not that I'll be able to test this for about 9 months...I figured it would probably be about 40:1, or 100 miles on a quart assuming 10 miles a gallon of gas. If this is off, it is easy to adjust? I always thought my sled used a lot of oil, but I never checked it.

So you're running between 50:1 and 60:1, if I'm understanding you right? At 7 MPGs, you'd go through about 14.3 gallons of gas per 100 miles, and 1 quart of oil, which 57 quarts of gas per quart of oil, if I did the math right.

I'm not trying to save money, just want to set it right (if anything, probably a little extra oil would be good). Not like I can check now anyway...

I have never seen a carb poo that ran to lean poo was always close to that 40/1 to 45/1 cat has always been pig fat and pumps needed to be turned down I have had 65/1 out of the crate cats.
I like to see 40/1.doo has pushed the limmits for yrs and IMHO think that is why they have gone with sealed crank bearings they know a standard cant live with tiny amounts of oil spinning 133times per second very long
