Oil pressure guage on 2000 Chevy G30

Oil guage keeps boucing on idle. kind of flickering, Van has a new jasper motor with about 10k on it. when hooked up to computer on a drive test everything checks out okay, when driving the guage is constant no problems. They repaced the sending unit twice for free with the same result. any ideas? could the guage on the dash be bad? I think it is all one unit with the speedo, fuel guage etc....

I would replace the electric gage with a mechanical gage for testing to isolate the problem.
