Monday night football Bears at Vikes field outside U of MN under the lights. No infield heaters going to be frozen like a rock!! Sure hope no players get hurt in those conditions. This is the way it was 30 years ago before the game moved inside. Power runners like Peterson will love it could get a 1000 yards tonight just give him the ball all night Bears won't be able to stop him in those conditions.lol Bears should bring back Robin Earl for this game. Great conditions for big back north & south runners smashmouth football.

Should this game be postponed until something better can be arranged?

With all the snow coming down the field will probably be soft with the fluff. They could probably use snowmobiles on the sidelines tonight. This snow is pretty impressive around here this winter.

Oddly enough, I just saw a report that the Dome roof is ready for this new snow. What does that mean? Turn on the fans and play in the Dome?

To me if the dome is ready play the game Tuesday Night. This game does not mean much to the Vikes but the Bears in the thick of the playoff seeds. Bears deserve better than this mess in playoff contention. If a star player blows a knee on the skating rink it would be such a shame to risk his career. Calling for 3-6 inches in Northern WI tonite too.

Speaking of getting hurt,I hear Favre is now a game time decision. Say it aint so! Go bears and lets wrap this division up tonight.

Favre can't play in cold weather anymore but Vikes want ROI on his salary & don't care what happens to him now so probably will play him & handoff to Peterson all night.

I heard earlier in the week that they were going to be putting tarps or pads on the field this week to de-thaw it. Anybody else hear that?

Peterson OUT & Favre IN can this get any stranger??? I didn't know Peterson was even hurt & figured he would have an epic night get a head of steam up in the ice & snow end up in SD somewhere before the Bears could stop him. No way Favre without Peterson makes it thru this game the old dog was the best QB to play the position but this is asking to much. Favre these days a pocket passer going to be too easy to find ..........look out Brett this may be the end of it all.

Yep roc that picture pretty much says it all. 1 hit & lights out........ Brett said everything went dark after the hit. Youngest D player on the field hit the oldest O player on the field & bye bye Brett. Pain killers only go so far & hit was clean didn't seem to be that hard but enough to put his lights out I guess. Better keep him on the sidelines the rest of the season let him go off the field on his feet not a cart.:)
