Ontario conditions - where to find info?

We're planning to go on a trip in a few weeks. With snow conditions not looking good outside the UP, we're looking into other ideas in case it doesn't improve. Anyone know a reliable place to get info on trail conditions/riding in Ontario? I assume we'd cross the border by Sault St Marie and then head North from there.

And here is the ASPA site with more info. http://www.algomatrails.com/

I also heard there is a Free Weekend Feb 15-17 so no purchased permit needed. But I do think you need to
register ahead of time. http://www.ofsc.on.ca/

Looks like quite a few of the trails are closed right now.

Where would you go if you wanted to spend 4 or 5 days up there? We normally ride a lot of hours in each day, and like to mix it up a lot with trails and off-trail. The only kind of riding I don't like much is going straight on a grade for too long. I was thinking about planning a big loop with some stops along the way. With it being more desolate up there compared to say the UP, I figure we should carry some gas and figure on minimizing night riding.

So anyone riding up there this year? Seems like the perfect year to do so with poor snow conditions elsewhere , better exchange rate and lower gas prices. I did reach the groomer guy.
