Our New Granddaughter

I have been wanting to post this since April 30th, discussion board was down a few times & one distraction after the other kept me from it, then reformatting pictures to load was a bit of an issue. Nonetheless, our youngest daughter had her first born on April 30th. She wasn't suppose to have her until the first week of May, but, due to the babies size, they decided to do a C-Section on April 30th rather than wait out natural birth. The baby was born at 12:20 pm, she was 9lb 3 oz & 20" long! BIG Baby! Her name is Aleena Rose, she is a keeper! Here she is at 2 weeks old. Thank you. This is grandchild #9 for us, looking forward to watching her grow. Wish she was closer like our other grandkids, but, Watersmeet isn't too far from us.

They are so amazing!! Very happy for you and your family. We are expecting our first great-grand daughter to be arriving any day now so needless to say, we're excited.
