LOL. Feeling sensitive today, Wayne? :p I just thought it was funny that you updated the thread to get it to the top.
No I am okay, heading to Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City. Hauling up customers and entire company (3) of us. To land some major sales. So I get to be a nice guy for two nights. A little stressed. Just finished high profile job at Western Michigan University yesterday. Yes worked Sunday. Need to ride the new Pro soon! Oh the ttt was to cover over another post since Dave B. Only reads the new topic stuff and I wanted him and you to go to Cooke with Doug and I.

I have a 08 Renegade with a 1 1/4 track. Other than making jetting and clutching changes, how would it handle in the deep?

I would get a good used 1.75 or 2" track (not sure if the 2" fits or not). You will do a lot better. Get nice wide paddles that push lots of snow!

I hauled a 06 600 Renegade out to Tog. and only changed the secondary from 3 to 5 or 5 to 3 and what a difference. Revkev did it for me in minutes. Sled went pretty much everywhere my son wanted it to go. I feel people read way to deep into this clutching. What you need is to copy the clutching chart for your sled. figure out the altitude your planned riding will be at and set up for that. say 8000' to 10,000' out west and 0-2000' around MI, WI, MN, OH, IL. Only Carbed sleds need jetting. Takes longer to get air box off than to change jets.
