Pat's Power Sports not just sleds

Lenny, I've had the same thing goes on in my head. Sell the atv and sleds and buy a side by side. My two girls would love it. It's true what everyone said, "time flys by!" I can't believe I have a soon to be 9 and 6 year old kids. I want to have one before the oldest is a teenager. Trying to figure out how to do it without selling the sleds. Selling the atv is fine with me. Just need to list it and come up with the other cash...
my only regret is that I didn't do it years ago, to look back are kids faces while riding is the best for me. I've done it all many times over and my 16 yr old daughter will not be around forever so I am so thankful that this deal went down. I sold my house and Equinox eliminating 77k in debt so to add this 5 is justifiable for what it gives back

Lenny:

1. What's the bar/lever extending across directly in front of the dashboard, an assured income plan for the front seat passengers' dentist(s)?

2. What, you didn't pop for the "snowmachine" option?
vp4017162_1_large.jpg

That's legal on the snowmobile trails, right?
Michigan Snowmobile Regulations
Legal Definition of a Snowmobile:
"Snowmobile" means any motor-driven vehicle designed for travel primarily on snow or ice of a type that utilizes sled-type runners or skis, an endless belt tread, or any combination of these or other similar means of contact with the surface upon which it is operated, but is not a vehicle that must be registered under the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.1 to 257.923."
(Oh, I fergot, with the forthcoming "Strongest El nino in 50 years", there's no need for that option in da UP dis year, eh? :p)

Good for you and your family Lenny. I started selling off my atvs a few years ago. You know what I take in the woods. My family has more fun riding in the same rig and not having to stress about breaking down or getting stuck. When we get stuck or break down we will have to hike out together. I'm ok with that. I don't think they are ready for that Hallmark moment. One of these days I'm going to get bit. Lol

"Good looking family in the Viking. A couple shady looking characters in the RZR. Ha Ha."

I also heard about a group of guys from Indiana that people need to watch-out for.....Think they are part of that Yamaha gang.

Pretty cool thing what you are doing here involving the family with the SxS purchase. One thing about life is you can get back yesterday for a redo and its best to take in every moment with family/friends that you can, I'm starting to realize this more now that I'm getting close to 50, one tagline we have been trying to go by is "smiles not miles" and the more people in your circle you can involve the better.

One question tho, are you going to "share" the driving responsibilities... :)

Wish I'd had that kind of insight when I was younger, my youngest child is now 21, she rides with me , but missed out on alot, working too many long hours, not passing up overtime etc. Can't get it back now and trying to make up for it just isn't working with my boy, seems I've already lost him. He's always kind of been a momma's boy, since I wasn't there for him like i wish I'd been.
May not get as much of her riding with me as I'd like, now she works and just graduated with her crim justice degree she has less and less time for me. Even painted the indy 500 pink for her.

It's never too late brother, humility has a way of molding us. I do things I don't want to do and if we don't listen to our convictions or conscience we turn into someone else. Continue to invest in family and if the heart is really there it will produce fruit.

I try an share the driving but they prefer to ride along and I seriously do encourage them to drive.

Cold cold this AM and the first number started with a 3! I don't have an official temp but my phone said 35 this morning. Some trees are beginning to change color but just a few. No doubt we are close to September which means we will be under 90 days till trails are scheduled to open. So, do I drive the wheeled vehicle or tracked vehicle. Oh wait, I don't have a tracked machine!
