Odd question, but has anyone ridden late season here in the first or second weekend in March? Thinking about coming up then due to my work schedule.

I have, for ex: March 2017 Yes , March 16 No and March 15 yes.

To far out of a time frame to know that

Why bother, keep going north 50 miles; Bruce's is gravel as of today. Don't risk your sled and the disappointment.

We have rode that area many times the third week of March. My son would be on spring break, and we would ride. Never had a bad trip.

Right along the highway right away in bruce is always bare in the spring, doesnt mean the rest of the trails are... ive had to ride the ditch because the trail was bare for hundreds of yards before in the spring, and the rest of the trails were a 9/10...

I agree with Bear. I was on Trail 8 through Bruce Crossing on Saturday and the trail was down to the gravel for miles. The trail was very good - even excellent - in spots south and north of there.
