Looks good, one of these days I have to check out that area, there is some beautiful higher terrain just outside of L'anse that really seems to get good snow. Herman looks like one of those spots!

Dont go to Herman thoce pictures are fake .LOL. Leave some untracked areas for us next weekend . Herman is about a 30 minute trailer ride from our camp. Snowing in Ishpeming now. That entire area is awesome. One time there was no snow anywhere by my camp. We trailered up the peshekee snow was waist deep. Love riding in waist deep snow with temps about 40 just a lite jacket on. Be carefule when riding those logn roads . The skidder tires are about 4 feet tall when you fall in there its a bear to get out. Streams , rocky, trees, its awesome . If you ride up there respect the land , no loud pipes , ride slow , pick up your garbage . Stop and say hi if run across people at their camp. People have alot of land up there just enjoy and dont ruin it for us.

I really hope a bunch of people ain't heading to herman.LOL You'll be disappointed It's a small area alot of private land no gas stations no trail system no bars no place to park. It's really rough country up there.Alot of stumped big rocks and the woods are really thick. Not the place for people with new sleds that have an itch to ride because your sled probably come out all banged up.

This is why offtrail riding has exploded and riding spots are not secret due to the internet. People should really not spill their secret areas.

No doubt. It's a friggin forum not a private message. Every troll and their brother is probably reading this on the world wide web. If someone types in a search for Herman this thread may very well come up.

Just remember how many jack @$$'s you see on the trails. Those are the guys that are too 'shy' to post anything.

If you run across people at their camp then I would think you are riding on private property without there permission? Especially if people have alot of land up there??

Most of the land up there is owned by logging companies. There is just a little amount of land owned by regular people in that area.
