Picked up new sled

Who hooo! I snowcheced a 2017 800 Switchback Assault in March and it came in about a week ago. Friday I picked it up and brought it home. This new Axys Assault is incredible. Can't wait to take it for a rip.

I spent the next day setting up the suspension, adding a skidplate, and adding a few other accessories like storage bags and a Ram mount for the GPS. I'm going to add a tether and gripper ski's next. This has to be the best fit-n-finish I've ever seen on a sled. Let it snow!

If I were in the market for a sled, that would be it, jealous!
Let us know how she is when you get to take her out. Out of curiosity, what were you riding before?

I was on a 2011 IQ Switchback 600... spent a little time over the last few years with a 14 backcountry 137 and a 14 switchback assault 144. both of those sleds gave me the "upgrade" fever LOL If Doo would have made the Freeride 146 in the new Gen4 chassis I would of had a tough time deciding which sled to get, but they didn't and after comparing both at the new model release I decided on the assault.

this warm weather SUCKS for this time of yr here??
better be better than last yr, trails here never even opened ONCE,
and this super warm Nov isn't looking good!
so let snow is right and lots of it! sooner the better as well!

Very sharp looking sled! I have heard and read nothing but good things about this sled. I think they sold quite of few of these.

That's the sled that I would get if I were to get a new one. I would also be interested in hearing what you think of it. The house in the picture looks just like mine also.

Thanks all... cant wait to ride it. My first impression is WOW... I'll post my first ride impressions as soon as we get dumped on :)
