Picking corn in January

Accidentally picked a row of corn today while carving up some drifts!

Reminds me of something I did a couple years ago. The trail in front of me turned I didn't realize it and went forward down a dead end path and at the end was very tall grass or some kind of weed. I was moving through it pretty good but the fresh snow on top of the vegetation kept coming down on the front of my sled and ended up stopping me right there. I had to get it turned around and go back the way I came. It was fun though. I kind of wish I had the camera with me that day.

the farmer just laughed when I showed him the pic and apologized for taking out a few stalks. he said the sled had a little john deere in it!!
