this pic was from last riding season in jan. Mr Freeze and I took off one day after some serious snow and it was over the hood everywhere we went. Every turn was a carve. I didnt get much of that this season and man do I have the itch to pow pow ride. We stopped to cook some burgers out in the bush. Most memorable powder I ever rode. My old 2 ton Yami was a real buger to get up on plane but boy was it fun.

Second pic was on the trail and still coming over

of course Indy don't go "real" pow pow riding but here's the best i've ever had. most snow i've ever seen from 1 storm, about 1 and a half feet of it within 1 day. no school that day = lots of ditch bangin. every turn for me HAD to be a carve or i was gettin stuck but keep in mind what type of sled i got.

fyi i did NOT throw any snow on my hood! all my friends keep sayin that i did!

This was the best powder I had this season. And it was in December, go figure.

Sorry for the poor quality. Had to scan em old school style. If you click on them a second time they will blow up so you can see them. These were taken before Thanksgiving, 2004 or 2005 in the Snowies. 4-5 feet with no base what so ever.

I went powder riding in Sweden this year. It was two meters (6ft) of bottomless powder. I have never seen powder like this. This flatlander managed to get a 155" RMK stuck a few times.

Sweden

I was working in Arjeplog, Sweden for six weeks this winter. Arjeplog is located in the Swedish Lapland about 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle. This area is a major automotive test area for European and Asian automotive companies. The area is very beautiful with lots of lakes and mountains. It only takes 14 hours from Detroit to get there by air.

Most Memorable Pow

Well, for me, & I am sure m8man will agree, the Most Memorable would have to be the late season pummeling we were blessed with in the first week of April of 2007. We had nothing, zero, nodda for snow prior to this gift of deep white gold! I was actually raking the yard on March 31, just like what we have going on right now. Then by April 7th, we were back in the saddle for some deep untouched pow. See the first 5 pic's below. We then had some real good early season powder riding on Dec 21, 2008, but I don't have enough space to post those here. Still hoping for a repeat epic late season ride!-Mezz
