picture sizing question

Has anybody else had trouble sizing pictures for uploading them. I have to make them so small to get under the 95 KB size limit, I'm down to 300x300 MP to get to that file size. Am I doing anything wrong? Most pics are taken with Iphone 6.

I tried to post some helps to Dan's question a while back and funny enough, when I tried to post the images I couldn't do it. Since then I've tried a few things without success. I did a little work in the test section and like elf said, anything that is the normal size my phone or camera takes is now too large to post. I'm not sure how to downsize things very easily so maybe someone else can jump in.

As always, I wish I had the answer at my finger tips! About the only suggestion I can make is if you are downloading the image from your phone to your computer and then uploading it to the board, do not send the image in the large format when you send from your phone. Use the smaller sizes. If you are going right from your phone and you primarily use your phone for the board, you might want to change the settings in your profile to the "Default Mobile Style" in the style for the board display.

Or there's a piece of freeware called MIR......Multiple Image Resizer that will do a number of images at the same time.....I've used several versions of it over the years.........there is a bit of a learning curve with it though.....one of our cameras images are 1.6M by default and I can resize them down to fit...........

maybe I can help. put image on computer. email to yourself or whatever from phone. put in my pictures. then go to ALL PROGRAMS...the choose PAINT...then choose the file...this is where you can convert any extension into JPG. choose SAVE AS...pick JPG IMAGE...save it as pic1 so you have original to work with if anything happens...now choose in paint still OPEN FILE...go to MY PICS and choose the JPG IMAGE titled pic1...now under HOME TAB choose RESIZE ..enter like 25 percent in each field...SAVE AS....make it pic2...mouse over pic2 in my pics to see size if under limit...if not good enough....choose UNDO button on top...sounds like a PIA and a lot of work but it actually takes way more time to tell you this than the 7 clicks to do it...its easy...try it...heres one I did
