I took a ride across Lake Winnebago this weekend and captured a few pics to pass along.

The first one is from High Cliff State Park looking across the north end of the lake.

The second is of some of the Real Estate along the north shore.

The third is of some Old Iron parked at Waverly Beach, that's a 1976 Rupp Magnum.

The last two are of a couple of guys Para Skiing on Lake Winnebago.

Most of the trails are still closed in this area so the lake was busy today, lots of snowmobiles, a couple of go carts, atv's, cars and trucks and some goofy dog that likes to chase snowmobiles.

All in all, a good day to be on the lake!

Hey Gary, what are you doing riding when you should be prepping for the big game? I've got Bucky on right now.

"GO PACK GO"

Oh, nice pics. When I lived on Lake Wisconsin, I could put in an afternoon of riding when trails were bare.

Were you riding alone? I think I saw you. We dropped on firelane 8 . White Yamaha wife was on the back.

Is any one going back out tomorrow? Either parking at Waverly or fire lane 8. New studded track to try out.

GO PACK GO! Down with the Falcons

Eagle,
Yes, I was solo. Made a few laps over to High Cliff and back. Rode some into Calumet Co. as their trails opened up this morning (surprised me too). Met one of their groomers south of the park but I turned around after I crossed a couple of plowed fields. Just not worth the trouble.

I doubt if I go again tomorrow but if you guys are out there, watch out for that Crazy Dog around Firelane #8 Some kind of Labradoodle or something, big as a horse, chases Ski Doo's, might be a lover or a biter!!!

Have Fun - Be Safe

I was on Winnebago yesterday too. Parked at Wendt's. Mainly was up there for a performance and tuning run. Made it across the lake in record time. I hit 107 with my sled, RPM's were dialed in, and my belt didn't grenade, it was a good day. There is plenty of snow on the lake for the essentials. A lot of ice heaves on the west end.
