I'm a Union Pipe fitter by trade. Just received the latest UA Journal. Two of the top ten finishers of the Iron Dog were sponsored by the union I'm in. 3 rd and 7 th. We are talking major funds sponsor . ***? What the H E double hockey stick? Can't post how I really feel €¥#%£ and #%¥£. What the ?????? Bleep bleep.

is it the same way I feel when watching tv and 3 or 4 times in the night every night a commercial comes on for education Minnesota(MN teachers union) spewing propaganda that I pay for?
but I guess it is for the children not really for the multiple 180k salary's for union officials

The Unions feed the politicians with money and the unions get what they want. Corp America gives both of them $ and they get what they want. It's the new organized crime. Just stating the facts Mam.

It's not new. It's been around for 100+yrs.

Let me guess, your dues go up every year?? Does your local "encourage" you to donate a certain amount per hour to a certain political party??

Yes,yes and yes.. We all know this,nothing new. Why are the funding big money to the Iron Dog. Is Pallen a threat? Can't grasp why they are spending big $ on this event? When I wake up to a dead horses head,I will ask them.lol

spot on, money drives politics and politics makes the choices. nothing new here. It actually how our political system works. If you have the money you will get your agenda pushed.

OK...I must be dumb or the OP was changed to the point that I don't see how supporting the Irondog snowmobile race is somehow political.

If yur pissed about the union $$$$ giving HIM a second term,....I fully understand.

Personally, I Kinda wish all the union polly $$ was put into snowmobiling results.

ABC supply has there non union name all over race cars and race car venues.

IBEW keeps PBS on the air....

you can imagine how us CONSERVATIVE UNION TRADESMEN feel about how political union dues get squandered.

Self employed HVAC here with no guaranteed retirement. I still sleep great at night though!!! wink, wink, smily face!

WI teachers union is redefining their power as a union not sure they can do much defending members in disputes as teachers do not have to join or pay dues. Useless or not?

President Kennedy's famous words "Ask NOT what your country can do for YOU....ask what YOU can do for your country" should never be corrupted.

FDR's work programs were a solution to a problem that served it's time successfully.
Unfortunately the concept of government sponsered labor in time of need has since been corrupted into an all out enslavement of a certain segment of society as a totally dependent on government class.

Hand it out and hey will come.

Yet I can see where,./... as CEO pay climbs to the stratoshere....even in a failed corporation,...lower class groups see this as a no win situation and will continue to vote themselves "raises" through a confiscative taxing governmental redistributive party...ie D.Donkeys
