Please be mindful of where you park.

Pike Lake road had driveways and access roads blocked yesterday. An elderly lady that lives on one of the Lakes got blocked in yesterday because someone decided this is where they were going to park their sled hauler. She had to get the police involved.
The road into my cabin was completely blocked.
And trespassing was going on.
I don't want to sound anti-sledding but this is not good so think before you act.

Word is that the police are going to start having rigs towed but that might just be bs.

What a bunch of Richard heads! Hopefully they do get towed! Once that happens, word will spread quickly!

"ENTITLEMENT"..... No longer just a government program, Kinda makes you wonder how they would feel if it had been their driveway..:cower:

As crappy of a situation as this is, and it’s becoming a bigger issue year after year, there really is not enough parking available in that area. It is the mountain sled Mecca of the UP, and they receive the most snow year after year after year. We have been getting up there earlier every year to ensure we can find a spot. To think that a very large portion of the Midwest travels to this area, and there is really only one designated trailer parking area on trail that isn’t a lodge or restaurant and that lot is in south range. Kinda crazy... around home here in Wisconsin there’s multiple designated drop off spots on the trail in every single town and our trails some years never open.
