I would like to remind everyone to PLEASE check the batteries in your smoke alarms and CO detectors, and if you don't have them, get them. A senseless tragedy took place this past weekend that could have been avoided. A well known local newspaper reporter here died from complications due to carbon monoxide poisoning. He had NO detectors in his house.

Not to detract from your important message, but I find it interesting how many people post messages like the fraction shown above, as though your readers were all psychic, and therefore know where "here" is.

Just a suggestion for all: If your profile does not include your location (and why not?), it would be incredibly helpful if you'd include an indication of where "here" is in your message.
