Please Slow Down And Be Careful On Corners

X2, riding this past weekend I saw a group of sleds with a father leading and a young child in front of him on the seat! Our group saw that and we we stopped we were all like " did you see that guy with the kid leading, he is nuts" Kids should be in the middle, i would never allow them to lead. I ride with my kid on in front of me but we are always in the back or middle, as I do not need to get taken out around the corner with him in front of me!

i'll take this one step further, north of Houghton, I came around a corner, slowed a little like I always do, and there were 2 sleds side by side..the left one in the middle of the trail..as I approached and slowed down to warn them, its 4 kids less than 13(best guess)..so I took the time to explain to the older drivers what could happen if "ricky" had come around that corner, how a sled could run right over their tail and kill them all..and to always stop in a straightaway never in the middle...

absolutely stunned that parents think this is just a "go out and ride" area without supervision

x2..although we ride all day and all night sometimes..u just cant beat the peacefulness at night, let alone the fact that its tons safer..and u can see if anyones coming at u..maybe ill change my name to NIGHTRIDER!!!!!!

yep you can see the lights coming thru tree on blind corners....we used to ride all day and we would head in around dinner eat relax then go back out for some night miles after the bars are full swing and groomers are out!!!!just need to pay attention to bar closing hr...the UP trails after 1200pm are awsome stuff...freshly groomed and no one out!!!!
