after a hone I cant see why you would need over size pistons all you are doing is taking the glaze off the jugs so new rings will seat not taking any material just scuffing.
if you had it bored out then yes then you would need oversize

i underestand i do not know how much material he took off but said i need 58f pistons just wondering if these are overbore for an xlt600

i think you need to start over with some one that knows what they are doing, fit your old ring in and check the end gap
