Polaris AF-1 Helmet Shield Removal?

Anyone figured out how to remove the shield off the Polaris AF-1 helmet without breaking the mechanism?

Open the shield, on each side between the shield and helmet there should be a small spring loaded lever type deal that will release the shield.

Don't mean to hyjack this thread but anyone know where to get replacement shields?

Seems nearly impossible to find an original replacement shield. I posted this thread for a friend and he was able to order a heated shield from Polaris that fits the AF-1 helmet and I believe it also fits the LE-6 helmet.

I just bought a AF-1 pure polaris heated helmet shield on E-Bay from Leaders Marine.
