Polaris head disassembly

Been messing around with the darn thing for awhile. Seems it won't want to split apart so I can replace the water jacket seal. I don't need to take off the temp sensor do I? any other tricks/tips? It's been inside for awhile now so it's not cold.

Grab the red cover with your finger tips and push the head out with your thumbs on the spark plug holes.If not then gently take a screw driver and pry it apart.

got it apart, it needed to be warmed up inside the house.
