Polaris Indy Blowing Voltage Regulator

Ok I had a great early season on my 550 supersport, over 500 mi but it has been one thing after the other as of late. I have fixed some gas line/tank probs and now she is running good but now it has blown the voltage regulator twice. I fixed it once and didn't ride it very far (not much snow) and not tried to get it out tonight and ride and it blew again... From my research it is a bad ground (to where?) but I just wanted to hear it from an educated group of guys what they thought it might be?

Did you use the OEM regulator or the aftermarket one.I have had problems with the aftermarket ones not working very long or not at all.

Ended up taking it to the place where I bought the part. Had them fix it, turned out it was just a bad regulator. They replaced it/and the light bulbs it blew in the process for free!

My coffee went right thru my nose this smorning.....

When you find a dealer who did what you say they did after selling you a faulty part....you should post the name and location...because that is a dealer worthy of notation and fellow sledders need to know WHO Dat is!
