interesting bit of info when u are suiting up in your kilm snowmobile gear in a small way u are supporting the fight to close nat forest to motorized traffic
Gore tex is supporting the closure of our riding areas. Gore tex sponsors the Conservation Alliance the Conservation Alliance has granted $125,000 since 2008 including $40k in 2013 to Winter Wildlands Alliance

They also sponsor the Blue Ribbon Coalition. So what is the issue. selling to everyone who goes outdoors is only smart business. Broadens the niche. Increases the bottom line, keeps everyone smiling.

eVent is owned by GE...I can't imagine they're not all over a bunch of greenie bull****. Kind of like how GLAAD has to approve all tv shows nowadays, I think any big corp has to throw a few bucks to certain groups to keep the environmental nazis quiet.

Gore-tex might be small enough to put some pressure on still. Can't hurt to send some messages in!

the diff is 1 well funded group filled with jobless volunteers exists to stomp out all non passive recreation and the other who has only gotten 1 grant in 2 yrs from gor tex only works to secure snowmobile use and is loosing. a corp like poo has the power to stop it.I will be talking with a big shot in poo marketing dept about what I think. if u talk with your dealers it cant hurt .has to be fought at every level.
I would rather see no donations to any one than 1 dollar to conservation alliance.
and yes GE is a huge pile of dung and I have been looking in to e vent manufacturing not saying 1 is better than the other I have both and now rethinking next buys
