I wasn't denying that is wasn't already posted before! I don't live on this site I have a life. I'm glad I don't if I did I would have to be part of the click. I'm not interested!!

I just read this on my browser. It is new to me. Thanks for pointing it out that it is old news again. That is clear!

I have to keep reminding myself to quit posting on here! Just look at the cams and forecast. Just look at the cams and forecast....

$ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $

Lets see it will cost 1/3 less to manufacture these ATV's in Mexico and they will pass the savings on to the customer...............YEAH.....SURE! All the warning labels will be in English and Spanish, the ATV's will really look good with all the extra decals. They just found out they have to spend an additional 2 million dollars for security purposes due to all the problems with the drug cartels.

it is sad to see them go south.....what is sad is all the families that have lost there main incomes......are we worried about the product that comes from Mexico or are we sad cuz of the job loss? I have a friend who develops the home monitor sys the cops use when someone is on House arrest, he has a plant in Mexico, hates going there but has to few times a year says that the mgr are mostly from the US plants and the quality is still there.....they have quality control and he say its sometimes better than what it was here!!!!!!Walmart is the biggest employer in America and 3\4 of their employees are on welfare of some sort!!!!!I find more wrong with that than poo moving to Mexico.....yet we still spend millions at wallyworld........sam Walton is rolling in his grave!!!

how many christmas presents did we open this year from under the tree that said "made in AMERICA"?

firecat-could of not said it better. mr. walton figured it out long time ago.

Their just trying to make more profit, its wrong for people to condem them for that. Were not a manufacturing society anymore. sad but true were only going to see a lot more of this

If you're not going to buy a snowmobile unless it's 100% USA built, you will never ride another sled again!

See, I guess I am not the only one who has noticed the "Click" on this site. Whenever anyone even mentions it they get told to leave.

Maybe John could start another section on the site, and it could be for us second class site users.

Famousguy, you know your loved here. :) It was the brand bash that got it going. It is in the rules of the site. If we all agree on everything then the discussion board would become null.

They are building a ATV plant in Mexico to take care of the need for southwest US. ATV use is growing fastest down there right now.
The snowmobile engines are being moved to the home plant in Minnesota.
People have to realize it is a world business and world economy. It is no longer us against them.
...Building a plant...no problem...on the wrong side of the border?...problem.........You can bet the CEO's and other top people at Polaris will enjoy alll the new plant "benefits".......And it's US against everybody! Weather jobs are going over seas or jobs being taken here... Were falling behind big time....

I certainly won't be buying anything from Poo.

As if Polaris needed another reason for people to not purchase their products. The inferior garbage they have been manufacturing as of late was enough to convince me to stay away and the fact they are selling out and building a plant in Beanerville just seals the deal. Who cares what they're making at that plant, the bottom line is America loses the jobs. As far as I'm concerned, there's only 3 manufacturers left. When you see all these jobs vanishing from this country who the **** is gonna have any money to buy these products?

Same goes for all these people buying cars other then the big 3 in the United States!!!! Ill buy nothing but the big 3 GM,Ford ,Mopar. As far as tv's , radios or other stuff if i can buy USA products ill pay the extra and buy American .I have bought China goods only because i cant find US made products that i want because they don make them hear. The problem is corporate greed, and also people of the US want the choice of buying outside goods and thats not doing are great country any good.

If Poo has what you want you/they will buy it simple as that. Nobody likes to see US manu. jobs leave but it has been happening as long as I can remember. Buy whatever you like for whatever reason you may have it won't change a thing in the big picture it is a global economy.

That's Poo's big problem right there, they have nothing I want. Who's gonna buy the sleds if they don't have a job? I doubt if anybody in China, Japan or India go snowmobiling. It's gonna get interesting I guess.

Totally agree with you. I just noticed my klim tek vest is made in Canada and my klim bibs are made in china, helmet from Malaysia, boots are from France and on and on. If I follow the mentality of a few in here then I would have to boycott all of snowmobiling since nothing says made in USA on it.

This topic really has the hot button.....from what I believe are mostly normal every day working folks who represent main stream America...John Dee'ers.

So what disturbs me is the basic "darn it, there is nothing I can do about it so...I am going to join them and who cares" attitude.

We are fools if we do not see that the enemy is not THEM....it is us!

If we didn't buy it...they would not sell it. This is worth repeating....
If we didn't buy it...they would NOT sell it.

Global is the market because we Americans, buy globally...and why? Because we think that the product is the best, or the cheapest, or that has the best service department...on and on...when we should really be thinking....gosh...what happens if I do buy this product NOT made in the USA??

Let's not forget about good old fashion Corporate GREED too, since no company is willing to work for at respectable 25 or 40% profit...it needs to be 2,000 % or forget it. (who gets to pocket the $45k for the chinese tile??...and have yah really looked to see if you can find it made in the USA at a reasonable price...thereby helping your bottom line AND the guy who makes the tile and who will someday need YOU to lay it for him??? See how many chinese come a call'n for you...eh?)

Frankly this process has disturbed me since I saw the TV industry we had in this country disappear because Japan decided they wanted it, and they (their country) supported that process mainly thru companies like Sony who were issued grants (not loans like we stupid Americans provide) from their countries to subsidize their industry and then they brought the products over to the USA where everyone saw how good they were and how cheap and reliable they were and flocked to them leaving the companies like RCA, Zenith, Magnavox, and others left holding the bag.

In those days, the companies just went out of business. Now they pack up those machines and move to 3rd world countries where they do NOT pay health care, or pensions, or over-time, or have government restrictions...and where they can produce a vacuum cleaner for $7 but import them here and sell them for 3 easy payments of $40...with money back guaranty...including shipping.

We all looked at those tv's and said...screw it...it IS a superior tv, and the heck with the American Companies ----WHO IS GOING TO MISS THEM ANYWAY???---

While that happened back in the "early globalization" days....today the trickle has become a gusher!!

If we didn't buy it they couldn't sell it. Simple as that.

While we all stand there and stare at the balloon that is deflating...and say gee whizz....we can't do anything about it!

Once we Americans wake up...take the extra step to find out WHO IN THE USA IS STILL MAKING THIS THING I NEED TO BUY, and then pay the extra cash for it...knowing that the cash you spend will stay here and come back around to support YOUR job....then we will have turned a corner.

I know American stuff has been often substandard...and often THE most expensive compared to the cheap knock-off stuff that is half the price.

BUT............it is by FAR.....more important that we support American made products.

WE might find that many of the things that "left the country" such as everything from toasters, to shovels....come back here again and start building them here again. This provides needed work, for workers who spend money buying OUR stuff, which keep OUR jobs going...get it??

But that won't happen until our attitude changes. And if you think there is nothing you can do about it....then I feel sorry for you...because as the saying says....if your not part of the solution...then you ARE part of the problem.

United we stand....divided...we fall...and brother...right now you better start looking for your parachute...because the bombay doors are beginning to open...which translates into just one thing that should hit you like a door in the face....YOUR job is next! Now repeat after me....."hello...I am new to this job....welcome to walmart...sir, can I grab a cart for yah???" Those walking and talking tall, will need to study these words because it is fundamental to their NEXT JOB!

When we tell Polaris...to take a hike...when we tell Skidoo....NOT in my life time...when we tell Orix XL, to take his vacuum cleaners and sell them to the chinese....we won't see anything positive come from this globalization process in the long run. Period!
