So, we're getting ready to load the sleds up in a couple days and just found out apparently my key is missing. Long story with who had the keys, but it's a 2006 Polaris Fusion 600. Is there any way to figure out what key I need other than dragging the sled to a dealer? I suppose I can call and ask a dealer, but thought I'd start here. Can the sled easily be started without a key?

I think there's only 4-5 keys for Polaris sleds. Should be able to find a friends that works in yours and get the same key from a dealer. My current sleds keys have one dot on the rubber part of the key. My sons has two. Hope that helps.

I've done that many times when needed. Polaris had 5 keys back then I believe, and they will have one to five dots on them as stated above. Now you just have to figure out which one of the 5 you had!

call a dealer with VIN or just get five keys from a dealer and see which one works.
I did that a few years ago heading up to the UP. I stopped by Track Side in Eagle River on the way up and the guy sold me one. Not a big deal at all. He actually put the key on a Yellow Foam key chain that they use for boat keys so I would not lose it again.Good Idea I put all of my keys on them now easy to see when you drop them in the snow.

I also keep a spare in all 3 of my sleds in a secret spot and do the same for all my vehicles in a magnetic case.
kinda funny=the 1-5 dots correlate to the letters a-e. the dots are on the black plastic and the letters are under it on the steel. these are exact same keys as some mercury, force and chrysler outboards from years ago. so if ever need a key,one place to check is with a marine dealer.
