I've ridden Polaris' for 33 years and have never had a warranty issue with Polaris, in fact just the opposite.

Pretty sad you guys think you have to slam on Polaris on here. 250#'s? get real. the sled is shipped for an average rider of 185#'s. M10 will say M10 on it. Does it? M10 doesn't mean unlimited load. I seen a 400 plus pounder on a skidoo Summit 146 couldn't figure out why the motor would cut out when riding but not while left idling. Duh! he was crushing the wiring harness under the seat and creating a direct ground to the tunnel engine would die.. He cried Skidoo was junk. Not true. learn about your ride before you slam it. Put in the correct spring. I added the 235# spring to my sled and what a nice ride I have. Your dealer either doesn't want to hurt your feelings or they don't know what they are doing. I never had any warranty issues with Polaris in 38 years of riding there sleds. go figure?

LMAO, I'm 185 and my '01 800XC Edge from the factory was perfect. I never laid a finger on the suspension and it's practically made for me. If you're 400 LBS and you hit a bump; thats like 500LBS non-stop. I wouldn't want you on my sled any day.

you guys without warranty issues got the good sleds that didn't get shipped with warranty problems.

I've got warranty issues with pol and I've had them with BRP too. unfortunately my sled must have been built on the end of the day on Friday.

As far as your suspension problem, at 250 you probably need the big boy spring. I'm a little over 200 and my stock spring is on the "high" setting and still feels a little light to me. Don't be afraid to take your sled to a different dealer, any Poo dealer can perform warranty repairs, and I've found that the level of service and knowledge at different dealers can vary greatly.

How I miss my 01 800 XCSP. I put 8800 miles on it in 2 winters. I had the extra yr. warranty as part of the snowcheck program. I thought ring this baby out and get a new motor. That did not happen. I didn't get to use the warranty for anything. not even a voltage regulator or a speedo side drive bearing. I did take a major hit on depreciation. The guy who bought it has put on another 8000 miles on the sled over 7 seasons. He needed a track and a top end o-ring gasket on the right side. This was pre VES, carbed 800. Now gas guzzling it is. 7-8 mpg. running wide open all day. Back then I was 185# too. Not no more.

I can ramble on about at least 3 manufacturers warranties... but I won't. All 3 didn't cover some things that I had expected they would. There is a vast difference in dealerships and the techs they have working on vehicles ( like said ). FOR me... I prefer the kind of place that doesn't have " kids " working on my machine. With that being said, I also have encountered problems with the features of brand new machines that were not to my expectation. What I end up doing is getting advise or solutions ( sometimes several ) from friends that are smarter then me. I have called out west and to the east in Quebec for some issues. There should be no reason that the suspension issue can't be solved. Adding shims to increase preload is a bandaid. Somethings I have had to just figure out myself. Better get the problem solved, the snow is coming.......

I weigh about 235. Am I supposed to buy a different spring for my Fusion? Never heard this before. How much do one of these springs cost?

The spring over shock for the front is $35 from Babbits online. takes about an hr. for you to change. 1/2 that looking for the tools. Go to snowest.com look in the 900 fusion section and look through there the part number is listed there. doesn't matter if you have the 600,755 or 900 same spring. Anybody need the stock 185# spring I have one for sale.

Polaris has "claimed" Fast suspension since at least 2006, and MANY have had issue with this suspension.

Try going over to Polarisfiles.com and posting your question over there. If you join, and search you will find lots of postings about it, including the fact that FAST says it is NOT their suspension and EXPECT issues with it.

I think that I read that some got some relief by revalving the shock, and to those who say that a suspension won't respond to a 250 geared up guy just don't know what they are missing, as there are lots of really good suspensions out there which do just fine with that size guy (high average). 400 lbs...okay maybe some issues, but what about a two up sled...they are designed for that weight as well.

Sadly the FAST suspension does NOT deserve the poor performance reputation they are getting from this. True fast suspensions are as smooth as glass, and will last as long as you will.

After owning all the types out there from every maker, I feel that Cat does the best job on this followed by doo. Just my opinion, for what it is worth.

I have read Polarisfiles.com. . Good and bad reading for me. I am thinking about an new TeamFast M-10 with the air shocks. Bad news, about $1600. A big price to pay for 1 of my 2 identical sleds not working. If I keep it????? There maybe a trade in, in the works????????? I am also looking at a new GSX 4 STROKE. ??????????????

Yeah, I hear you. Lot of money to fix what shouldn't need fixin. Sad you have to trade to get it right.

On a side note, if that is the 1200 motor, I have done a bunch of research on that motor and they are pretty happy with the very low complaint department at brp. turbo guys have boosted that motor without replacing vital parts and to me that says a bunch about how strong the motor is to begin with. Course, I am all 4 stroke these days....think it is the only way to go anymore.

I weigh 225-230 lbs geared GSX 4s 137 with cockpit adjustable airshocks worked well. If you can get a demo on GSX 4s 137 I think you will be pleased. GSX 1 inch track, no hooks & no clickers up front make it too putzy a sled for me compared to Yamaha Attack but others like it. Doos are light & do handle well so no problem there. If it was me I would trade for GSX as Poo has turned you off & never will be right once you feel that way. Been there did that with Cat & very happy when I moved on to Doo years ago.

The Air wave is the best trail skid out today, you will love it, I have a big boy Ryde FX with reserve it should fit if you would want to try that. WE have 5sleds with the m-10, when set up they are great. The one air wave we have is much better though.

Can anyone help! After buying 2 new 2008 IQ LX's last spring and 1 of them the suspension wont adjust properly and, Polaris cant or wont fix it. I came to the fact that Polaris's warranty is not good. It has a fast m-10 that is adjusted to the max and the static sag is way more that it should be. When trying to ride the headlight shines in the tree tops and there is very little suspension. It gets worse as you drive. I did talk to the tec. at TeamFast and he said that my suspension is not a fast m-10. That this is Polaris's suspension, and has nothing to do with TeamFast. Of course the fix isn't cheap. The dealer knows its not right, but say's Polaris wont pay them to work on it anymore.( oh, I also paid over a $100 to the dealer to try to fix. for a spring preload washer.)

I believe I just wasted my money on Polaris. It wont happen again.

Anyone have an ideal?

This is not acceptable. I had a problem with an '07 IQ LX CFI not starting when it was very cold. It was known problem with low starter output, not battery related. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a loose connection, yet some people were getting heavy duty starters, depending on the dealer. Right there I said screw it, no more Polaris's after 15 years of pretty solid loyalty. Made the rad switch to Yamaha's, got extended warranty's, and yep, no problems of any sort. Good quality sleds - knock on wood. Make the move and answer them with your money going to another manufacturer.

Polaris really does call this an fast M-10 suspension for a 28 inch track. But TeamFast says there are misrepresenting Fast M-10 (Brian from TeamFast tec). I have 2 identical sleds and to start with I found no difference between to two on looks at all. But they were totally different in the way they performed. 1 follows the owners manual to the tee on setup the other just sags to much to start with and gets worse. Lucky for me my wife's sled is the good one. Her sleds suspension will fad after working it hard she say's. With the all the trips to the dealer the suspension received many changes with not much help. They even changed the ski pressure settings. They had it totally apart and re greased. If there is something was installed wrong the dealer or Polaris tec's cant find it. A guess, it could be the coil over spring is weak, but the test they did say's its ok. ?????? Polaris wont pay than.

THor, my 2007 IQ LX CFI had the exact same M10 suspension. It was a factory thing Polaris teamed with FAST for the upgrade on their deluxe models. Mine worked fine, but I've had other Polaris's that did the same thing you describe and I can almost guarantee its a blown shock that needs to be revalved. If it was a setting error as Grub suggests the dealer would have found that as a simple fix. They won't want to spring for the revalve but they should.
