This is a great story! To have one of the founders still living (and riding) and to hear him talk about the different early models is pretty cool. We can only hope we come even close to riding at that age.

If there is any doubt about the impact that these companies (along with Marvin Windows) are having on the econonmy of Northern MN, just take a trip to TRF, Roseau, or Warroad and see how their economy is doing compared to some of the other communities up there.

I liked the part about Allen being the educated one with a high school education and Edgar and David only making it through the 8th grade, when i was a Polaris dealer years ago I had the oppurtunity to have lunch a few times at meetings with David, and got to know Edgar as my dad knew him well and it was fun listening to some of there stories, if anyone is interested in a great book, check out Breaking Trails, Edgars biography.
