Possible Veterans Day snowstorm

Some models are forecast a major winter storm in the Northern Plains by next Thursday or Friday. Anyone else picked up on this?

Winter storms, especially the strongest ones are so hard to nail down even 3 days out, much less a full week. That said, the models were all over the storm that hit the Black Hills back in October, they were amazingly accurate even a week on on the projected path and snowfall amount.

I also find that the bigger the weather system in the models, the higher the likelihood it will occur. Although the details like timing and track are not very reliable until day 3, sometimes 4.

Still better than economists that declare events six months after they happen or began!

Fargo weather been threatening on this one since last Wednesday (8 days early)..guess we will see.
