Powermadd Star Series Handguards

I have a 1999 Polaris XC SP 500 and got Powermadd Star Series handguards with the universal snowmobile mounts. I went to put them on and the mounts did not extend far enough away from the brake. I have heard to use RSI or Rox Speed mounts they will go out far enough. If anyone has any suggestions or mount that works please let me know on this thread. Thanks

rox mounts are the way to go. you can fit them in different spots at different angles. I love mine.

Maybe try the trimount setup.

I have a combination of the two types.

BTW, the trimount works pretty good as a GPS mount with a broken handguard for the base.

Agree 100% with indy...Rox mounts are the only mounts IMO. dont waste your time with over complicated mounts and others that dont allow adjustment from the brake

Just threw away 2 pairs of the new polaris mounts and handguards to install ROX mounts and powermadd guards
